Het verhaal Dr. Mahmoud Younis

Graag deel ik met jullie de noodoproep van een jonge arts, die mij al via verschillende wegen was aanbevolen maar nu ook mijzelf heeft benaderd. Door de vele donaties konden we hem al snel ook gaan steunen.

I listened to your voice message with deep gratitude, and truly cannot find words that match the level of nobility, sincerity, and awakened conscience that you conveyed. I’m genuinely glad to hear that you speak Arabic that’s wonderful

First may Allah reward you for your compassion, for your rare humanitarian stance, and for standing firm despite the professional and personal losses you’ve endured for speaking the truth and defending the oppressed. Your voice was not just an echo in passing, it was a light in the darkness we’ve been living through for months.

Yes what we’re going through is beyond description, and I’m very happy to know that you understand the details so accurately and that you’ve been following the situation closely.. everything you mentioned about the conditions on the ground is entirely true. Right now we are just trying to survive with whatever strength and faith we have left, and your words were truly healing.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your reply and for reaching out to me, and for your intention to include me in the list of doctors you’re working to support. If I may ask more please it would be to do everything possible to expedite my inclusion, as these are the most difficult and cruel days I’ve ever experienced for me and my family. As I mentioned in the email, our home was bombed for the second time last week, but this time it was completely leveled to the ground. We barely escaped with our lives and couldn’t take any of our personal belongings with us.

Thank you once again, I will never forget your kindness as long as I live. I remain deeply grateful to you, to Dadeen, and to everyone who stands with us with words, actions, or sincere intentions.

Tragically in March 2024, I lost my father due to the ongoing war. Then on Sunday, the 17th of this month, our home was completely destroyed in an airstrike. We were left with nothing, no shelter, no belongings, just survival. Every day since, I’ve been returning to the rubble, searching for anything we can salvage.

Nu is er dus helemaal niets meer en is het gezin waar hij alle verantwoordelijkheid voor draagt volledig ontheemd
