Momin Sami I. Daher

Momin Sami I. Daher is a pharmacist from Gaza with five years of professional experience across the pharmaceutical, community healthcare, and humanitarian sectors.

Following his pharmacy education, Momin built a diverse career working in community pharmacies, community-based healthcare organizations, and as a medical representative, gaining valuable experience in patient care, communication, and pharmaceutical services. He also worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF), contributing to emergency medical response efforts and delivering pharmaceutical care in accordance with international humanitarian standards.

The war in Gaza has dramatically changed both his personal and professional life. The destruction of healthcare infrastructure, severe shortages of essential medicines, and the collapse of many businesses have created unprecedented challenges for healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.

Despite these circumstances, Momin has remained committed to his profession. He currently works evening shifts in a community pharmacy, ensuring that patients continue to have access to essential medications and pharmaceutical care during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

With experience in both the private and humanitarian sectors, Momin continues to dedicate his knowledge and skills to supporting his community. He remains committed to improving access to healthcare and contributing to humanitarian medical efforts whenever and wherever he is needed.
