Rania Abdullah Salim Nagi

Rania Abdullah Salim Nagi is a nurse from Deir al-Balah, Gaza. She graduated from Al-Israa University in 2023 and currently works as a dental assistant while continuing to serve her community through voluntary healthcare initiatives.

During the war, Rania was forced to leave her home in eastern Deir al-Balah and seek safety in the western part of the city. After a period of displacement, she was able to return home, but like many healthcare professionals in Gaza, her personal and professional plans were profoundly affected by the conflict.

The war interrupted her ambition to pursue postgraduate studies, yet it also strengthened her commitment to helping others. Today, she operates a small free medical point that provides basic healthcare support to her relatives and members of her local community, offering care where access to medical services is often limited.

Despite the challenges of living and working in a humanitarian crisis, Rania remains dedicated to her profession and hopes to continue developing her skills so she can serve her community for years to come.
