Manar chteui Almasri

Manar Al-Masri is a surgical technician from the Gaza Strip who has been serving in operating rooms since graduating in 2014.

After completing her training, she volunteered in the healthcare sector and continued to provide medical services throughout the war, working under extremely challenging conditions with the limited resources available. She is currently employed on a temporary contract, continuing to support surgical teams and care for patients despite the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

At 31 years old, Manar also carries significant responsibilities outside her profession. She is an orphan and the primary provider for her family, supporting her 76-year-old mother, her two sisters, and her brother, who was seriously injured during the war.

Despite the personal and professional challenges she faces, Manar remains committed to serving her community and providing essential healthcare to those who need it most.
